Universal ESA Scholarship
EVERY ARIZONA CHILD K-12 GRADE IS ELIGIBLE
THE UNIVERSAL EMPOWERMENT SCHOLARSHIP ACCOUNT (ESA)
ESAs are an option offered through the Arizona Department of Education and are completely free for families. ESAs allow parents to utilize their child’s K-12 dollars to pay for education expenses.
The average ESA amount is approximately $7,000 per year per student (students with an IEP/504/MET may receive more funding).
All K-12 students in Arizona are eligible to receive funding!
Families can apply for an ESA anytime throughout the year by filling out a quick and simple application. Documents needed are student’s birth certificate and proof of Arizona residency.
ESA funds can be used for educational expenses including:
- Private School tuition (including religious schools)
- Home-based education curriculum
- Online learning
- Tutoring
- Uniforms
- Therapies
- Transportation
- Computers
- Books
- Microschool
